
When it comes to the role of decreasing dependency on oil, a recent survey indicates the majority of Americans overestimate the role renewable energy sources will have in meeting future demand. However, the survey also found most Americans do understand their nation will require more energy in years to come. The study, commissioned by the American Petroleum Institute and Harris Interactive, included responses from 1,528 U.S. adults polled from June 3-12, 2008
