While we do not have all the answers to our origins and our final destination, it is no reason to embrace the beliefs of a elderly patriarch from Iron Age Mesopotamia who professed to hearing voices in his head instructing him to kill his son and mutilate his genitals. This is what Darwin said we could expect if his theory were true.
