This is a very well detailed article about women conditions that, to my dismay is not improving. Our biggest enemies are culture and religion.

Even here in Canada, we have issues. Because of immigration, we have seen men complaining that they want to be served only by men, decreasing the reguirement of women in the private work sector. We have cases of abuse, forced marriage and gender restriction because the government does not intervene with family affair. The court should take care of that. But if women do not have any support and if they complain, the are banished out of their community, they won't complain.

Numerous religous group here in Canada (not just Muslim) have been asking for their own school, exemption from some law and rigth to bigamy. They have succeded. They feel that our schools do not give proper social values. Yes even in Canada, they control their own.

Immigrant women and their daughters are maintained in the same type of culture as the old country. And what makes me mad is that women are doing this to women.

There is still discrimination between men and women here in Canada. Salaries are a big issue. Men employers always complain that women workers put a financial burden on their finance. They have to find a replacement when women become pregnant.

We, as women, all have the same problem. Our body belong to men. Men control the fashion business, publicity and the film industry. As long as there is no changes in these three areas, men perception about women won't change.

Our "virginity" has a price tag, and it belongs to men. It is part of the bounty of war, culture and religion. If we really want to stop this women inequality, I suggest that the hymen should be medically cut when girls reach a certain age. No more virgin. That would change men's attitude because women would send a message that their body belongs to them.

I know this is quite drastic. Do you see another message that would affect men and women relations and will have the strongest impact against culture and religions.
